  • Mrs. Emerling’s World History Class

Welcome to Schilling Farms Middle School! "The Schilling Experience" will be exciting, challenging and filled with new adventures. My name is Sandra Emerling and I am looking forward to teaching your child this year. I am married to a Northwest Airlines pilot and I have four children. My oldest daughter (Lara 23) graduated with a Master's Degree in Teaching from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Lara is a practicing artist and will begin teaching art this Fall at the Stadium School in Baltimore, Maryland. Kristen (19) graduated in May from Houston High. Kristen will attend college at Binghamton University in New York. Kristen will play softball for the Bearcats. Alec and Eric (17) identical twin boys are seniors at Houston High. They play baseball for Houston and are in the process of researching colleges. I love to travel, read, and watch baseball and softball games. Actually, I love to watch all sporting events! Go Stallions! I know that my teaching must begin with making your child feel at home in our classroom. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns. I can be reached by email semerling@scsk12.org or 854-2345.
